I watched an Asian cooking program and noticed that they use scissors instead of knives to cut their fish. These scissors are very sharp. I use them to cut raw fish and use practically no effort to do so. They do all the work. I reserve this pair just for dressing fish and they are marvelous.

I have purchased this item before and the handles were/are infact soft - making the grip great for arthritic people - this pair DOES NOT have the soft grip - I am not happy with these as they will not serve the purpose for which they were intended!!!!

Returned it after 2 days! Can you believe that the inside light only works when it is cooking? It only informs you of this in the product manual after reading. We also didnt pay attention to the cubic size only the add that call it a family size microwave :( 1.2 CF is very small and no light after opening door is crazy. There are many better choices.

Door BLEW OPEN on my Panasonic microwave while using it! Called Panasonic and right away they had me talk to their lawyer. All he cared about was getting the microwave in their possession (maybe getting rid of evidence?). When I asked about getting it replaced, they said after they had it and checked it out, they would let me know. How do they expect me to be without a microwave over for 2 weeks? 4 weeks? When I said I couldn't wait that long, since I have to feed my family, the lawyer said that is the legal agreement I consented to by buying the oven. My only solution is to buy a another microwave. I feel like a fool for buying a Panasonic. Never again.

I only had this Panasonic microwave model for a couple of years and it is already broken. It just conked out without any reason. I had it checked up for repair and the repairman said that the problem is the circuit board which will cost $100.00 to repair, more than the cost of a brand new microwave.

IN A NUTSHELL: I DID CHECK THE MODEL NUMBER BEFORE WRITING THIS REVIEW!

This would have been the best value in a microwave we had ever enjoyed until it stopped working. We bought this unit [from a different vendor] in March 2005 and it stopped working in June of 2006. Sadly, the warranty was expired and it we discarded it and replaced it with a unit from a different manufacturer. For under $100. what else is there to do?

ABOUT THE FUNCTIONING OF THIS OVEN: POWERFUL & USEFUL UNTIL AN EARLY END

As far function goes this unit was the fastest I have used and had a few [not many] features which were handy, like the defrost mode, the select timer and the digital clock. It was also large enough to be used for more than just heating things up. The system we have replaced this one with is a Sharp and it requires about 1/3 longer for everything we are cooking or heating.

This microwave was a great purchase. Seems to have all of the typical buttons and heats up foods quickly. The size was perfect for our limited space location. Only oddity is that light does not go on when you open the microwave. The light does go on during cooking. Overall, well worth the price.
